The library is unusual. Empty, but giving a feeling of content and calm.
A near silent whirring, as if mechanical contraptions are behind everything in it.
A writing desk and chair were left behind. A warm fireplace is bricked into the wall.
Some evidence from the past lays on the desk, a letter from the Writificer.
Dear Writer,
I hope that this letter and the accommodation of my old study are deemed sufficient for the monumental task ahead. It doesn't have to be completed today, tomorrow... for there is a whole lifetime ahead.
Do not neglect nor delay in filling the shelves. The action of doing so is not only good for them, but for the writer as well. Symbiosis. When ready, seek drawer built into the wall. I had this installed when I first arrived, and it was instrumental in my quest to fill these very same shelves. Imagine the words that want to be written, and open the drawer. Into the chute will fall those words. All that's left is the duty of the writer, hands on the keys. We writers know what to do.
Remember, there is no failure and no losing here. There is no roadblocks or wasted time. That is the beauty of this place. All time spent is worthwhile. Outside this room, I cannot attest the same.
Seek the accumulation of words. If weary grow upon the library, shelve those words and seek more from the drawer. Any long lost projects will be there when they're ready to be transcribed again. I can still remember my unfinished books, and the freedom leaving them gave me to write others. There is no wrong.
If the writer is completely lost on where to start, fear not! Seek my guidance by placing the writing hand upon the rune on the wall next to the drawer, and the writer shall be guided.
Fear not the word, for the word is everything.
